Students completing the MAPNET Erasmus Mundus international path will receive double degrees (i.e. two national diplomas issued by two institutions of the Consortium) depending on the mobility periods chosen and the plans of studies agreed after the beginning of the Masters.

At the end of the MAPNET local path, students will receive from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna a University Master – 1st level degree, in accordance with art. 3 of D.M. 207/2004.
The Masters on Photonic Networks Engineering Diploma in Italy is not accepted as a qualification for accessing to an Italian PhD course.
Awarded degree(s) will be accompanied by a single Diploma Supplement, which describes the educational programme followed by the student. The Diploma Supplement will be attached to the degree(s) awarded. The document is designed in order to provide a full description of the student training experience (from content development and thematic paths followed, to learning results) within the MAPNET Masters, giving details on the main features of the courses/paths followed by the student, the exact level of knowledge and results acquired, any information regarding the nature and characteristics of the title(s) awarded and any other statement relevant to the student scientific curriculum.
