At the end of the Masters Course, students will receive their degree from the institution in which he/she obtained the most of the required credits. The home institution is the institution in which the student begins his/her study path and will play an important role in the co-supervision of student thesis activities, as previously detailed in the mobility framework.
Each institution will be responsible for the issuing of the title it awards. Hence, the MAPNET Consortium releases multiple degrees and recognises any teaching module attended in other institutions of the Consortium.
Awarded degrees will be accompanied by a single Diploma Supplement, which describes the educational mobility programme followed by the student. The Diploma Supplement issued by the Consortium will be attached to the degrees awarded and the document will consist of a single and jointly agreed version for all Consortium institutions, with their logo. The document is designed in order to provide a full description of the student training experience (from content development and thematic paths followed, to learning results) within the MAPNET Masters, giving details on the main features of the courses/paths followed by the student, the exact level of knowledge and results acquired, any information regarding the nature and characteristics of the titles awarded and any other statement relevant to the student scientific curriculum.
