Personal Data

The Mapnet Consortium is committed to user privacy. Information relating to individuals (personal data) is collected and used in accordance with the Directive 95/46 EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 (Official Journal L 281, 23/11/1995 P. 0031 - 0050). This website treats personal data according to the policy described in the Regulation mentioned above and provides information about the use of your data in the specific privacy policy statements as described below.

We may transfer data that we collect from you to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission and other EU bodies for processing and storing.

Data that is provided to us is stored on our secure servers. Data supplied by candidates during the application phase will be collected by the TeCIP Institute (Institute of Communication, Information and Perception Technologies) of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna as grant holder institution of Mapnet, and will be used for the sole purpose of the selection procedure.

Any information that is obtained in connection with your application form and that can be identified with you will remain confidential and will be disclosed only with your permission or as required by the EACEA and by other Erasmus Mundus bodies and laws.
